Ooredoo has today launched an inspirational song for Qatar National Day celebrations, using a wealth of national stars, champions and members of the Ooredoo family.
The song is being showcased in a special film, shot at Katara Cultural Village, which will run from today in the build-up to Qatar National Day. The film will be promoted across Ooredoo’s social media channels using the hashtag #WeAreAllQatar,as well as being screened on Ooredoo’s Mozaic TV. Ooredoo’s film includes a host of national figures, including rally champion and Olympic medal-winner Nasser Al Attiyah, the Ooredoo racing team of Fahad Al Suwaidi and Meshal Al Noaimi, Qatar national football team players Meshal Abdullah and Khalid Muftah, and Qatari painter Hassan buJassoum.
To showcase the people of Qatar, Ooredoo employees and management are also featured in the film, as well as number of school boys and girls, Qatar Camaro Club, Qatar Cycling Federation, and a variety of members across Qatar’s community. Fatima Sultan Al Kuwari, Director Community and Public Relations, Ooredoo Qatar said: “This year, we wanted to demonstrate our pride in our country by bringing together a host of our friends, partners and employees to showcase the diverse range of talents present in Qatar. Qatar National Day celebrates all the amazing achievements of our country, which are embodied in the people of the nation, so our song and film is a tribute to that spirit.”
As well as the video and social media messages, Ooredoo will host a number of Qatar National Day events including a special exhibition in Katara Village that will demonstrate the company’s and Qatar’s growth since the first telecom services began in 1949.
