Thousands of spectators look forward to the Aspire Lake Festival this Thursday at Aspire Park

Thousands of attendees are expected to visit Aspire Park this weekend to watch the magnificent light and music show at the ‘Aspire Lake Festival’ that will last for three nights, which had been organised by Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF) in partnership with Katara and Ooredoo.

In the meantime, AZF announced that it has finalised preparations to host the event after installing more than 1400 seats to accommodate the large numbers of fans who expressed their interest in attending the festival following the social media buzz that has propelled it to the top of this weekend's cultural agenda. The music and lights show organized for the festival will feature a number of visual performances using specially designed decorations and light effects set to beautiful music scores. Performers will be presenting these shows on Gondolas along the lake.

Commenting on the festival, Mr. Nasser Abdullah Al-Hajri, Director of PR and Communications at AZF, said: “The festival has been carefully developed in partnership with Katara and Ooredoo to highlight novel cultural and artistic elements inspired by the Italian culture. It will be presented for the first time in Qatar at Aspire Lake transforming the scenery into a colorful piece of art that I believe everyone will enjoy.” To ensure comfort for guests attending the festival, AZF has allocated a larger dedicated to families with more than 12 food outlets in the vicinity of the event, in addition to restaurants and coffee shops already available at Aspire Park.

There will also be a fully-equipped media center for press and broadcast representatives to facilitate capturing the activities of the event. AZF is committed to boosting the tourism and leisure sectors in Qatar by introducing new activities to attract and excite visitors. Due to this innovative approach, Aspire Park has become one of the most popular destinations for both recreational and sporting events.
