Ooredoo has today announced that it will once again distribute gifts to people performing the Hajj pilgrimage to the Holy City of Mecca in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia this Eid Al-Adha.
This is the seventh year in a row that the company has donated the free packs, and the gifts will be given to a number of Hajj trip organisers across Qatar. Packs include ihrams, a special item of white clothing worn for performing Hajj, along with towels, a personal care tool set and a free Ooredoo Passport Card worth QR 100.
With the Ooredoo Passport Card, pilgrims wishing to call home during their trip will get 100 roaming minutes and 2GB of roaming data. The Ooredoo Passport is valid for seven days on all networks in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including STC, Mobily and Zain. Fatima Sultan Al Kuwari, Director of Community and Public Relations, Ooredoo, said: “Hajj is one of the key milestones in a Muslims life, and we are proud to once again support people’s spiritual journey with our small tokens. We pray the pilgrims have a safe and rewarding trip.”
