For the third consecutive year, the Paris Saint-Germain Academy brought to you by Ooredoo will take place in Qatar, as the company pushes to encourage sport and healthy living across the country. The academy, which will be led by the Paris Saint-Germain coaches and supported by local players, will take place at Doha College School, and will be open to 200 boys and girls from across Doha aged between 6 to 16 years old. Players will have the opportunity to experience the Paris Saint-Germain football school which aims to train the next generation of sporting stars.
Fatima Sultan Al Kuwari, Director Community and PR, Ooredoo, said: “We want to encourage youngsters to get involved, start running, playing and inspire sportsmanship. This is a great opportunity for children across the country.” Children will be taught a range of skills including tactical and defensive playing, stamina training and the basic rules of football at the camp. In addition to sessions, participants will receive an official Paris Saint-Germain Academy diploma during the closing ceremony.
The launch of the third ever Paris Saint-Germain Academy in Doha is the latest in the company’s sports initiatives as Ooredoo get ready to celebrate Qatar National Sports Day in 2016.
