As the ongoing COVID-19 situation continues to impact communities and businesses, Ooredoo has announced a raft of Ramadan offers in its ‘Giving More In Ramadan’ campaign, designed to support its customers in these challenging times. The telecommunications leader’s 2020 Ramadan campaign has been designed to make staying home easier for all customer sectors, to ensure everyone can benefit during the Holy Month.

Postpaid Qatarna 5G customers can expect an extra 50 international minutes and doubled data allowances with their chosen pack, while Shahry 5G and Data SIM 5G customers can enjoy doubled data allowances and extra entertainment with beIN CONNECT vouchers. Ooredoo ONE customers will continue to enjoy double the speeds of their fibre connection. Prepaid Hala customers recharging during Ramadan will get double the allocated data allowances, with the data bonuses depending on the recharge amount selected. Recognising that most shops are closed but customers may still want to shop, Ooredoo is offering discounts on devices purchased online via its eShop, as well as giving double Nojoom points with each online device purchase and free home delivery.

While previous Ramadan campaigns have included fun activities in which customers can take part, such as scanning special posters around town, this year’s interactive campaign will operate via the Ooredoo App, enabling customers to take part from the safety of their homes. Hadaya Ooredoo asks customers to access their Ooredoo App each day, tap on the Hadaya Ooredoo section and ‘scratch off’ a blurred image to reveal a clear picture. They then need to correctly identify the image to win prizes. A different image will be shown each day, with prizes also changing on a daily basis so customers can return every day during Ramadan to win more.

Speaking of the comprehensive Ramadan offering, Sabah Rabiah Al-Kuwari – Director PR at Ooredoo – said: “Ooredoo recognises the scale of the challenges facing our customers and wider community right now. By providing the maximum digital infrastructure support for employment, education and entertainment to be delivered at home, we hope to support people until the pandemic situation is over. Likewise, by both continuing our #StayHomeWithOoredoo provision and initiating new packages to boost value during Ramadan, we will have more to give customers in these difficult times.”

Further details of specific offers can be found at ooredoo.qa.
