Ooredoo announced that teams of volunteers paid a surprise visit to Ehsan Centre For Empowerment And Elderly Care as part of its ongoing Ramadan CSR activity schedule.
Teams of our volunteers visited the Centre, spending time with the elderly residents before undertaking a schedule of activities arranged for after iftar. Volunteers also distributed gifts and thanked the Centre’s staff for their hard work and dedication throughout the year.
Speaking about the ongoing Ramadan CSR activity schedule and the visit to the elderly, Manar Khalifa Al-Muraikhi – Director PR and Corporate Communications at Ooredoo– said: “A major part of our corporate social responsibility schedule is supporting the communities in which we operate, and this special time of the year is perfect for us to undertake activities that demonstrate our support in practical ways. We are committed to supporting all sectors of our community, and this activity was the ideal way for us to show our gratitude to, and appreciation and respect for, our elders. Spending time with them at the Ehsan Centre was a great privilege indeed.”
Ooredoo will be continuing its schedule of CSR activities until the end of Ramadan and Eid.
