Visitors came out in droves over the last three-days to catch a glimpse of some of the country’s future projects expected to transform the skyline of Doha.
Cityscape Qatar, which runs until tomorrow (Wednesday 25th April) at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC), saw top local and international developers come out in full force over the last week to showcase their new flagship projects to the public for the first time. This year’s edition saw the signing of several agreements on notable projects, including the deal brokered between Qatar Rail and QNB, Ooredoo, and Qatar Insurance Group. The show also saw a strong presence from Turkish developers, who displayed a multitude of real estate opportunities, from residential to retail.
Visitors have until the 25th April to avail opportunities, network, gain valuable market insight, and take advantage of exclusive deals, special offers and payment plans on the show floor. Over the last few days, several VIP dignitaries visited Cityscape Qatar and toured the exhibition, speaking to some of the country’s top developers. On Monday, HE Sheikh Hamad bin Jassim bin Jaber bin Mohammed bin Thani Al Thani, former Prime Minister of Qatar, visited Cityscape Qatar and spent time with exhibitors, learning about new projects and developments which are boosting the property sector in the country.
Minister of Transport and Communications, HE Jassim bin Saif al Sulaiti also visited the show this week, commenting that this year’s Cityscape Qatar will support the national economy by promoting various development projects, and that the exhibition enhances the role of the private sector, opening a dialogue for new opportunities. “As the curtain falls on our 7th chapter of Cityscape Qatar tomorrow, we’re incredibly pleased with the way visitors, developers, government authorities and real estate stakeholders have responded to this year’s event,” said Faariss Khalil, Exhibition Manager for Cityscape Qatar. “The real estate sector remains a top priority for many – and we’ve witnessed this positivity and optimistic investor sentiment on the show floor this year.”
Among the projects launched and showcased at this year’s Cityscape Qatar included:

An approximately QAR 20 billion development, it revives the old commercial heart of the city through a new architectural language that is based on community living. Giving visitors updates on the project, the developer is also offering visitors to Cityscape Qatar new leasing opportunities. The developer also announced its first tower for leasing, Wadi One, which offers 1-4 bedroom apartments with views of West Bay, old Doha and Souq Waqif. The project will offer state-of-the-art home technology with a focus on green living.
