Ooredoo and Vodafone has started taking order for iPhone 7 on their online platforms. The price of iPhone 7 starts with QR2,799 and goes up to QR3,999 for iPhone 7 plus 256gb version. Currently both operators are not taking orders for iPhone 7 plus. On ooredoo website it is showing out of stock and Vodafone website is not highlighting the option.
Ooredoo: iPhone 7 32gb (QR2,799) and 128gb (QR3,199) variants are available in Black, Silver, Gold and Rose Gold as of filing this report. Jet black, which is available only in 128gb and 256gb, versions are out of stock.
Vodafone: Only iPhone 7 128gb (QR3,199) in Black, Gold and Rose Gold are available on their website as of filing this report. They are also offering free data for Vodafone customers.
None of the 256gb versions and iPhone 7 Plus versions are available in stock with both operators. The new phones will reach Qatar market on September 24. While Ooredoo allows buying two phones per person, Vodafone allows pre-order of only one handset.
You'll need a valid Qatar ID or Passport and a credit card issued by a bank in Qatar for pre-order on Ooredoo website. Apple launched the new phones in many markets today and news agencies reported that many of the variants are already sold out in most retails stores. Qatar is in the second batch of countires to get the new iPhones, while neighbouring UAE will receive theirs on September 17 and is priced at Dh2,599 for 32gb IPhone 7 on Etisalat website.
