Ooredoo business customers stop receiving paper bills

Ooredoo today announced that from 30 September, all businesses in Qatar will stop receiving paper bills, as the company continues to reduce its carbon footprint in Qatar.

All Ooredoo business customers will now be moved to the company’s eBilling systems, ‘BillXpress’ or online via My Ooredoo, which offers customer’s an easy-to-read PDF version of their monthly bill, via email or online, and provides a secure way to view and compare new bills with previous bills. Ooredoo business customers will receive their final paper bill the end of this month, and as of October 2016 will be able to access their business account information online 24/7 and on-the go. Business customers can call 800 8000 or their account manager for inquiries and registration.

With the final phase of paperless billing coming into effect, all business customers who do not register to Ooredoo’seBilling methods before 30 September will be able to view their bills only on the My Ooredoo website. The company is urging all customers to register for eBillling, in order to receive the monthly billing emails, and enjoy an instant and secure way to view their usage information. Environmental conversation has been a priority for the company for many years, and Ooredoo was one of the first pioneering companies in Qatar to tackle issues pertaining to e-waste management and recycling.

Other successful environmental campaigns include the company’s annual celebration of Earth Hour, where office lights and non-essential systems are powered down to demonstrate its commitment to energy conservation.
