Just five months after the official launch of the service, Ooredoo has today announced that over 50,000 people have used the new service - the Ooredoo Video Clips mobile portal.
Ooredoo Video Clips has been designed to enable Qatar’s smartphone users to watch videos online and on-the-go, and the service has seen high demand from customers across Qatar this summer, as it offers the ability to access unlimited video clips on a daily basis.
Talking about the demand, Fatima Sultan Al Kuwari, Director of Community and Public Relations, Ooredoo, said: “Digital content is the future, people want to be able to access all their news, entertainment and social media on their phones 24/7, which is why we are investing now in services that allow our users to be in control.” Once subscribed to Ooredoo Video Clips, customers can watch as many videos as they like on their mobiles, which includes more than 1.7 million videos,with genres such sports, action, Bollywood, Pinoy, shows, and more.
Subscription costs just QR 2 per day on a recurring daily basis, and the Ooredoo Video Clip service has a catalogue of videos in over 25 languages. As an introductory offer, Ooredoo users can subscribe to the service and try it out for free for two days, before paying for the subscription. To subscribe, customers can send the keyword ‘SUB1’ to 92202. To unsubscribe customers can send the keyword ‘UNSUB’ to 92202.
