A team of Ooredoo volunteers visited the Fahad Bin Jassim Kidney Centre today as part of the #CloserConnection Ramadan campaign by Ooredoo.
Patients undergoing dialysis and treatment at the centre were surprised with gift bags brought by the group. Ooredoo has a long history of supporting kidney patients in Qatar, and in 2010 donated the Fahad Bin Jassim Kidney Centre to Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) to provide dialysis facilities for people suffering acute and chronic kidney disease. The visit was the first in a series of random acts of kindness supported by Ooredoo to hospitals, homes for the elderly and children’s centres.
Fatima Sultan Al Kuwari, Director Community and Public Relations, Ooredoo said: “Ooredoo has supported the Fahad Bin Jassim Kidney Centre for many years and we are always happy to show our support for the doctors, nurses and patients, as well as shine a light on the amazing work the staff do year round.” The kidney centre offers a modern and spacious area for patients, with 80 stations and 20 private rooms. Ooredoo’s delegation was received by a team of nurses, senior staff and patients from the Fahad Bin Jassim Kidney Centre.
During the Holy Month Ooredoo’sAlrabaa will be seen at various events and locations around the country with surprises and entertainment for all. Customers can follow Ooredoo’s Ramadan campaign via Ooredoo’s Facebook, Instagram or Twitter page and the hashtag #CloserConnection.
