Companies in Qatar are increasingly investing in 4G and fibre services, as the pace of online competition and the need for rapid communication increases.

Underlining this trend, Ooredoo is reporting a strong response to its “4G Trade-In Offer”, which enables companies to exchange their old 2G/3G My-Fi devices for new 4G My-Fi devices. With the latest offer, business customers who trade-in their old My-Fi device receive a QR 100 discount on the new 4G device, as well as a 3GB Data Card worth QR 80. The new 4G My-Fi device costs QR 299 with the promotion, and supports 4G services on the Ooredoo Supernet, offering incredible speed, coverage and quality.

The promotion, which runs until the middle of November, is aimed at the increasing number of businesses in Qatar that can integrate the mobile Internet into their daily working lives. In addition, the programme is part of Ooredoo’s wider environmental strategy, with all the returned devices being safely recycled through Ooredoo’s e-waste initiative. Being connected is a crucial business requirement in today’s working world, and regardless if businesses use the device in the office, at home, on the go, or for back-up, the 4G My-Fi device connects users seamlessly to the Ooredoo Supernet.

With the Ooredoo 4G My-Fi device, business customers can enjoy a high-speed surfing experience for up to 10 devices. The My-Fi device also offers enhanced indoor and outdoor coverage allowing customers to connect to a stronger 4G network signal. As well as mobile Internet, Ooredoo offers businesses the chance to stay connected via their world-class Fibre network. Thousands of small businesses across Qatar are now deploying fibre and enjoying download speeds of up to 100 Mbps, as well as benefiting from upload speeds of up to 25 Mbps, unlimited usage and access equipment included free of charge.
