Ooredoo today announced that it will be the Official Telecom Partner of the Qatar Cup 2016, organised by Qatar Star League (QSL). The announcement was made at a press conference at Al Saad Stadium, which will host the semi-finals of the event on Sunday, 24 April.
The Qatar Cup, previously referred to as the Heir Apparent Cup, has become one of the most popular football competitions in the country, pitting the top four teams in the league against each other to win the ‘all-star’ final. The 2016 Qatar Cup will be one of the highlights of the football calendar, with the much-anticipated finals taking place on Friday, 29 April. As a Telecom Partner, Ooredoo bring results and highlights of the matches to the widest possible audience and support fans with incredible coverage via the Ooredoo Supernet.
