Ooredoo has announced that its Ooredoo tv service is set to provide free coverage of two highly anticipated fights this April, delighting boxing fans across Qatar.
The fights, which include Manny Pacquiao vs. Timothy Bradley for the WBO World Welterweight Championship, and Nonito Donaire vs. Zsolt Bedak for theWBO World Super Bantamweight Championship, will be available for all Ooredootv customers on channel 426 for free. The fights, which will air on 10 April (Pacquiao V Bradley) and 23 April (Donaire& Bedak) will be live for all viewers.
Existing Mozaic TV customers can still view the matches but will have to access the action via the TFC Pay-Per-View service available on channel 510 on Mozaic TV. The bundle price for both the matches will be QR 109. Mozaic TV and Ooredoo Broadband customers can access the fights for free by simply using Ooredootv’s“Collect & Go” service, meaning they can visit any Ooredoo Shop and collect the new Ooredootv box to take home today. Installation is simple, and can be done instantly by customers in their own homes.
Ooredootv also offers a multi-screen service, so customers can use their Ooredoo Broadband Wi-Fi to enjoy the best drama, comedy, documentaries and hit shows on their smartphones and tablets, whilst other users enjoy the boxing. Both live events are brought exclusively by ABS-CBN Middle East (The Filipino Channel) in the Middle East.
